The first No Meat Mama GIVEAWAY!

There is nothing like a giveaway to make people flock to your website! And since I'm assuming some people are seeing this and I don't know who they are, I'd love to hear from you!

Just leave me a comment saying anything (well ya know, don't make fun of me or anything) and I will randomly pick a winner and give you your choice of homemade treats listed here....

1. La Fuji Mama's Deadly Chocolate Almond Toffee

2. Nutella Chip Cookies from Love and Olive Oil

3. Vegan Chocolate Truffles from Vegetarian Times (for my lovely vegan readers)

So comment and tell me your name. Or your favorite recipe (and the link of course). Tell me your dog's name. Or your kids. Anything!

This contest will end next Wednesday (03/23/2011) at 12pm/CST. I can only ship within the United States, I apologize to foreign readers (the cost is too much for me as a poor baker in Chicago). Pass this on to your friends and loved ones.... who doesn't love free dessert?

Thanks readers! And you will see me again this week with new recipes!

One of my favorite Vegan recipes is from the whole foods website. It's so amazing and healthy. I make it almost every week. MOROCCAN SPICED CHICKPEA AND LENTIL SOUP: http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/recipes/421
I would highly recommend trying it.

I've been eating mostly vegan lately, which has felt wonderful. I also bought myself a juicer and have a wonderfully energizing vegetable juice every morning. Feels like all your cells are alive and buzzing! I wish you joy, health and happiness with your blog. I miss you!!

  12. Hey Jackie! I'm sorry I didn't realize you were having this giveaway sooner. Gurrrrrl I love me some homemade vegan treats! AND... I tell you what?!...If you pick me to win... I will make **YOU** a homemade vegan treat in return! Then we can finally get a chance to hang out and trade our homemade vegan yummies. How can you refuse such magic?!?!?

Oh and our dog's name is Maeby (inspired by the character from Arrested Development) and we have 3 rad cats named Milo, Badger and Courage.

Also it's really hard to choose just one of my favorite vegan recipes, but I can choose my favorite vegan blog - which has ALL my favorite recipes! Its: http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/

I highly recommend trying out the Barbequed Seitan Ribz recipe - http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/2007/05/barbecued-seitan-ribz.html

And also we just made this last weekend and it was sooooo good! Potato & Broccoli casserole - http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/2011/03/potato-broccoli-rabe-casserole.html We used regular broccoli and it turned out just fine.

  14. I show up wherever there's free food to be won!! My cats' names are Remy and Miette, and one of them remembers and prolly dislikes you, and the other doesn't remember but would love it if you came over.

I can't cook at all, so I mostly just look at the pictures on your blog and am baffled. And hungry.
